Connection Policies
These policies summarize the requirements and responsibilities for organizations connecting to PIT Miami. They are based on the PIT LATAM connection policy framework.
The policy defines the terms under which organizations may request or maintain a connection to PIT Miami's neutral interconnection platform.
PIT Miami operates with neutrality and openness. Bilateral and multilateral peering are available at each participant's discretion, and route server use is optional.
Illegal activities, malicious behavior, attacks and traffic that disrupts IXP stability are prohibited.
PIT Miami aims for high availability. Maintenance windows and operational notices are communicated to participants when required.
PIT Miami may filter, suspend traffic or suspend connections in response to operational risks, security risks or policy violations.
The policy may be updated over time. Continued use of PIT Miami services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
PIT Miami is not liable for interruptions, third-party failures or participant misconfigurations.
Participants should keep operational and peering contacts current so PIT Miami can coordinate onboarding, routing questions and incident response.
